Doomsday Morning by C.L. Moore, Review by Kalani

This is slated as a classic scifi, but it isn't really scifi at all. It's not post apocalyptic, it's set in an imperfect utopia. Most of it is really slow and then suddenly it's action-packed with car chases and helicopters. It's really about a dysfunctional theatre group that can't do their job.

Rated: 3/5 Suspicious soundtracks.

Slumdog Millionaire by ..., Review by Caitlyn

This was an intense read. It's about Ram...Thomas. Basically he went on this show 'Who Want to be a Millionaire' and no one expected him to win, but he does. He answers all twelve questions. People assume he cheated and he gets arrested for questioning. He ends up getting a lawyer and the book explores how he got each question right. Note to reader: In can be a bit confusing because it isn't in chronological order.

Rated: 5/5 Religions. "It's a bit weird, but it's interesting."

It's about someone called Cameron who falls in love with her best friend. Her friend outs her to her grandparents. Her parents died when she was twelve. They are devout and she ends up going to a gay conversion camp and meets all the people there.

Rated: 5/5 Priests "It's an amazing book"

Vardaesia is the last book in the series. The whole series is about a girl Alexandra who crosses over to a parallel universe called Medora. She has to fight against disinherited Meyarin prince, Aven. Alexandra and her friends attend a school for the gifted called Arkarnae.

Rated: 5/5 Shadow wolves. "This series is really, really good."

Warriors series by Erin Hunter, Review by Erin

It's about all of these cat clans that live in the forest. There is one cat, Rusty who lives with humans, known as 'two leggers' or 'up walkers'.    He dreams about chasing mice in the forest. He goes to the forest to try and hunt but he gets caught...

5/5 warriors.
